Lake Auman Sports Club members participate in a wide variety of activities including fishing tournaments in the Spring and Fall and sports shootoffs throughout the year as well as attend social events like the Chilli Cookoff in March and the Annual Sports Club picnic usually held in September. In addition to these recreational activities, the Sports Club participates in numerous programs/projects throughout the year which affect the quality of life for Lake Auman and its habitat.

Plans are being formulated to hold a Catfish Derby sometime during the summer months	The date is still pending for the Fall Bass Tournament	The highlight of the Club's year is the annual picnic to be held at Johnson Point on October 22.
